Education for children in India
Our co-founder Gertrud Rotter explains: "Since our last visit to Siliguri, West Bengal, in December 2019, we have started and completed some of the work. At the end of December, we were able to start work at the Pushpika children's home in Adhikari. The shelves for the children were delivered at the beginning of January and the washing area for the girls was completed. The renovation of the house was also started and this work is coming to an end. We were able to start the next "building site" in Hamiltongganj at the beginning of February. In the Nirmala children's home, the foundations for the new water tank for the new toilets and service water have already been dug. The renovation of the rooms has been completed."
