Poverty robs children in South Africa of their future Drakensberg
Little Flower, the poorest of the 16 preschools in the southern Drakensberg, is being rebuilt. Little Flower really does have the worst conditions - a room measuring just 3×5 metres for 15 children. There are two hard-working, dedicated women with training, who do not have it easy: The main teacher had polio and wears an iron splint. We are sure that with the new school, more children will have the opportunity to attend school. We already have a good example with the first school that was built by the "SORO non-profit organisation for social commitment". In this way, the teachers' livelihoods are supported and the children have a pre-school that is suitable for them.
